Whilst I know my way round a computer quite well, I have to say that when it comes to any sort of programming I am absolutely clueless. Unfortunately I had serious issues with my website, and my attempts to put things right only lead to the site having more problems! I’m not proud, and I had no hesitation in contacting a local company to tell them my issues. They agreed to take a look at my site and they then told me how much they would charge to improve the site and bring it up to date! I was gob smacked at the prices they were mentioning and to say it was out of my price range would be a massive understatement.
I decided to get myself online to see if I could finds someone with more sensible ideas – and prices. After a while I came across a great website which seemed to advertise freelancing web developers and programmers. I decided to use the site and I just created a post which explained my situation and I posted it to all programmers and developers in the hope that I would at least receive some advice.
I did much better than that, I received an offer for the exact work I need doing at a fifth of the price i had originally been quoted! The guy could also get the work done in the next week and he didn’t expect to be paid until he had completed the work to my satisfaction! It really was a no brainer and I snapped him up straight away!
